I have recommended Shark vacuum cleaners to so many people as I thought they were excellent. I had my Dyson for 12 years and not one issue. I have a long hair retriever dog and vacuum everyday across hardwood and carpeted floors. Before my Shark Duoclean was 12 months old the bottom wheel deteriorated on one side and started scraping on the floor. Shark replaced the bottom nozzle no quibbles. Five months later and the same has happened again. Now Shark UK say it’s wear and tare and won’t honour warrantee claims. So if you want a vacuum to use daily and robust, don’t touch Shark!

The Shark vacuum cleaner is great on hard floors but I really struggled with my rugs. The suction is so strong, even when I used the lowest level of suction, that I couldn’t pull the cleaner across the rugs. It was better , although still difficult, on carpets.

First shark steamer I recieved was faulted. I contacted customer services and explained the problem I had encountered. The faulted item was collected and a few days later a New replacement arrived. Must say I was disappointed in the beginning with the faulted item as it lasted five minutes but I am very pleased at the results of my replacement New Steamer. Only wish it had a switch on the handle to turn it off rather than running to the plug in the wall. But I am pleased with the results it gives.

Amazing suction power and very easy manoeuvrability. It isn’t a light machine (saw a previous review where is was sent back for being too heavy) but it’s weight is proportionate to the power it has. Very easy to empty and designed to make removal of canister during use seamless (buttons just where you need them to be) with no tricky lining up required. Having had several Dyson, irobot and Henry hoovers, this is the best yet by far.

Service is excellent and very helpful replacement product are not exspensive also delivery was fast

Charger breaks two months after buying £400 hoover

Bought 2 items through shark and a shark vacuum through amazon in the last 6months. First item shark cordless vacuum last November through amazon, was great until it broke, happened to be over Black Friday, all their stock sold out and was told to wait a week for replacement, after a week I phoned again to be told that there was no replacement part I would need to return item and buy something else from amazon, luckily amazon was great and gave me a refund, so I went and bought the lift away corded vacuum direct from shark (due to being no stock of cordless and same price direct) and I must admit I love my vacuum, I actually prefer the corded to cordless just was a bit of hassle getting there! Bought the £149 steam mop last week and it’s amazing I see there is issue with it when you use hard water but where I stay I shouldn’t have this issue. Can’t believe the difference in my floor. Definitely recommend Shark just use them direct incase of issues!

I didn’t realise how dirty my house was until I bought the shark. Honestly the suction is amazing, it’s not too heavy and doesn’t feel like a lump to drag around with you. Perfect Hoover if you ask me. Well worth the money.

Everything is good in terms of suction I just keep accidentally turning it off

Had my shark duo clean powered lift away NZ801UK today. Liked the design but I think it is so over rated. Suction on carpet is average at best, the roller brush seems to come on When it pleases despite me adjusting the mode etc. Turning corners is difficult and I have to lift the whole hoover to adjust its position because I don’t want to break the stick, and it’s not covered in the warranty. On hard floors again the suction is average. Certain crumbs were left on my rug even though I had it on maximum. Really disappointed and it’s the first brand new Hoover I have ever had in 30 years. Wished I’d bought a secondhand dyson now

Best vacuum ever. Carpets look really good. Just one star less because of the weight. Wish it was a bit lighter. Can't have everything.
